Hello everyone! As many of you already know, I used to live out in Wisconsin. Our governor Scott Walker defunded Planned Parenthood, which really hurt them.

I mean it’s not like it’s a world spanning organization founded by a eugenicist, first funded by Richard Nixon, with over a billion in income each year… yeah, nobody’s making a nickle off that.

Being a nonprofit does not mean that you have 0 income. It means that the organization does not run to make profit. Income is not the same thing as profit.

That income goes toward paying for doctors, nurses, facilities and other things that make helping people possible. Most profit made is required by law to go toward those same things, or they cannot be legally qualified as a nonprofit.

Contemptuous view from the bottom.

schysmata:

Things I am just fucking tired of:

  • I’m tired of every person with a penis automatically being profiled as a sexual predator.
  • I’m tired of abuse and rape victims not having anyone to turn to because they are assumed incapable of being taken advantage of or beaten.
  • I’m tired of women not having rights to parts of their bodies because men (lacking the anatomical parts to be in a place to make said decisions) are making decisions on their behalf.
  • I’m tired of women making less money than men in the same position regardless of performance.
  • I’m tired of hearing the phrase “Man-up” anytime someone with a penis talks about how difficult their life is, when more often than not their life is legitimately difficult.
  • I’m tired of seeing racial minorities constantly subjected to countless injustices, that are not only unresolved by the justice system but often committed by it.
  • I’m tired of hearing the phrase “White tears” because it’s assumed that if you share the same skin tone as the majority of those with wealth that you too are well off.
  • I’m tired of the immigration process forcing people from foreign countries to work for pennies, causing many jobs go to the lowest bidder to get away with providing for workers even less.
  • I’m tired of those who are supposed to represent our interest hoarding money and power, and killing over a million people, and destroying the lives millions of survivors in yet another meaningless war.
  • I’m tired of the profiteering of the upper class while the lower and middle class struggle simply to survive.
  • I’m tired of seeing young people being forced into military servitude due to the cost of their education.
  • I’m tired of people getting benefits for coupling, even more so than certain couples being excluded from said benefits.
  • I’m tired of seeing oppressed people be completely uncaring to the oppression of others.
  • I’m tired of seeing oppressed “equal rights groups” generalize and persecute those who are of a different race or color, while preaching against stereotyping and for equality.
  • I’m tired of lies, denial, and hypocrisy.
  • I’m tired of individual rights being up for vote.
  • I’m tired of absolution…

That’s just the beginning of the list, nothing is ever simply one sided. The more I see “equal right’s activists” refuse to so much as acknowledge inequality as it is from both sides, the less I take them seriously, and the less I care for actually fighting against the true injustices committed against them. Humanity is childish and immature, caring nothing for true understanding or equality, the more I have to deal with it the more I say we just let it die…

You know… Planned Parenthood is an “evil corporation”, right? And that perhaps you’re in the throws of a remarkable advertising campaign?

I mean just imagine how much money planned parenthood makes off the federal government..

Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization.

Providing affordable healthcare is not evil.

Have a nice night, man.

“They say I have a sweet ass, nice tits, a real pretty dress. They say I’m their future wife, or I’d look good with their dick in my mouth. They try (and probably succeed at times) to take pictures down my shirt. They ask if they can get my number, they ask where I live, why I’m not smiling, why my boyfriend lets me walk around by myself. Then they ask why I’m such a bitch, if my pussy is made of ice. They say that they never do this, as though I’ve somehow driven them to inappropriate behavior and deserve it. They say they’re just having fun, trying to pay me a compliment. Pretty frequently they get mean, slipping into a loud tourettes-like chant of bitch-whore-cunt-slut.
Before you try to tell me that it’s because I take my clothes off for a living, let me tell you that this started way before I was 18. Let me tell you that every single woman I know has at least one truly terrifying story of street harassment and a whole bunch of other stories that are merely insulting or annoying. Let me remind you that in a room of pornography fans, who have actually seen me with a dick in my mouth and who can buy a replica of my vagina in a can or box, I am treated with far more respect than I am walking down the street.”

Question

Anonymous asked: Part 1: Thanks for answering my question! This is the aspect of abortion that I struggle with. As a woman, I think 'this affects my body' and 'it is ME that society would judge if this happened in xyz circumstances', but as a person I also think 'men AND women are part of conception' and if the man did want the child he physically does not have the option of carrying that baby himself (if he wished to) and I can't imagine living with the aftermath of having that choice not available to you.

Question

Anonymous asked: Part 2: As a woman, I can't bear to think of that choice being taken from me. So although I do see that this affects women more, I also struggle with the way that this choice can be taken from men. At the end of the day, biology really screwed us all over. Gay couples cannot just simply have children. These fathers can't just take on the job of carrying a baby for nine months, so it has to be this ethical mindfield between men and women. So thanks for helping me think about how to navigate it!!

Agreed! It is so complicated and crazy. You’re welcome, thanks for asking (:
